We welcome patients and clients suffering from depression, trauma, anxiety, eating disorders, sexual abuse, issues related to sexual orientation and gender, PTSD, grief, adverse health, and more.
Currently, we at Mindful Healing are only offerings clients virtual appointments. However, we know from research and our own professional experience, offering virtual therapy these past four years through Covid-19, that virtual therapy can be as effective as in-person therapy.
Virtual therapy offers several unique benefits that did not exist before. It allows you to do therapy from the comfort of your home, or wherever is most convenient for you that allows both privacy and safety. It eliminates the need to factor in travel time in addition to your therapy thus making your healing that much more accessible to you! Finally, it allows us to extend our services to the entire state of Delaware, and reach clients who may have found therapy otherwise unrealistic.
We understand some clients may have reservations about trying therapy through a screen. In our experience this is just a temporary hurdle. The awkwardness of meeting virtually often melts away by the end of your first session. We are trained to make you feel comfortable, safe, and heard, screen or no screen. Give us a try!
